Cool Sensory Brushes, Removable Handle AWESOME I am going to be comparing these brushes to Pacific Pediatric Supply’s Sensory Brushes, which is a product I have also used and purchased from Amazon for our son, who has Autism and a separate sensory processing disorder, among other things. We haven’t had to do brushing protocols on him for a while because he went through a period of not responding to them or needing them, but something threw his sensory stuff out of whack when he had his hospital procedure last month, and because he’s not verbal, all I can do is look at the behaviors and reactions I’m seeing and try to provide stimuli that can help balance it out. And he just smiled and went into relaxation mode when I started this back up a few days ago, but we only had one of our Pacific Pediatric brushes left, and that had been a bit chewed on, so it was working, but I needed new ones.So in relation to Pacific Pediatric’s sensory brushes, the walls on these from Special Supplies seem to be thinner. Great set for sensory integration or processing Such a great set of brushes. One for each of our family. Would also be great in a classroom so each student had their own color. It comes with a handle but brushes work fine without it. Bristles are firm but don’t scratch and are just soothing. I love the set.

Great therapy brushes, fun colors! These are exactly what I expected and are just like the ones the PT uses, except colorful. I love that my daughter gets to pick the color she wants as this gives her an element of control. The only issue is the handle attaches firmly, as it should, it would be hazardous if it popped off while brushing, but my carpal tunnel makes it near impossible for me to remove it without help or a screwdriver. There may be a trick I’m overlooking.
