AFFORDABLE! Soft chewy my son loves My son (with autism) LOVES these! He seeks out soft chewy surfaces so I’ve been returning lots of chewy necklaces or bracelets b/c they’re too tough. I bought a set of chewy bracelets that included one of these horse chewies as a free sample, and he loved them more than the bracelets! Now, I’m back for more horses. The first chew horse ended up losing its head b/c it developed a rip right under the neck. Since they’re silicone, I just cut it off so that it wouldn’t become a choking hazard and he continued chewing on the base. We don’t use these on pencils, just freestanding. He does like the little pencil slot though, so there’s extra give on that end when he chews it.The best part of these? The PRICE! Getting so many in bulk and at a reasonable price (usually the price I’d pay for just ONE chew necklace) does so much for the pocketbook of this autism mom. Adaptive equipment and supplies for children with special needs end up being an added burden for their families who…

My kids love these to chew on and play with My kids love these. Being in the dental field I hate my kids chewing on inappropriate things like hangers, fingernails, clothes, etc. I saw these and they are my kids’ favorite colors so I thought I’d give them a try. They both use them at school. The only problem we’ve had so far is that one of the already chewed pencil tips broke off in it and it took me quite a while to get it back out. A direct quote from my daughter when I asked her how she liked them. “I love them, I can chew on them if I’m doing my work and if I’m already done than I can play horsey with them.”I asked the teacher and my kids if they made any weird squeaking noises when they chew on them because I didn’t want to distract the other kids but it seems like they work fine. Of course my kids friends want their own now. My daughters friend that sits next to her in class was chewing a straw….so I know she could use one. I would highly recommend these for anyone that has a child that loves to…

Pre-teen and Parent approved for chewing! (Save the shirts!) My son has recently developed a sensory chewing issue as a pre-teen, and I’ve purchased several different kinds of chew toys for him. Yes, chew toys for pre-teen boys…! There is a huge variety of them on Amazon, and I didn’t even know this was A Thing until I talked with other moms! It helps alleviate his anxiety and gives his mouth something to do.I like this set because it’s not as noisy as some of them. When I first received it, I popped out the pink one and tried it myself. It didn’t do much for me personally, but I can see why my son would like it as they offer a variety of different chewing experiences. You can bite the tip, gnaw on the center, or stick the whole thing in his mouth. They are a couple of inches tall (one of his teachers expressed surprise that they were so big, but it makes sense when something is going in a mouth!)As a bonus, the set comes with a red chewy bracelet. My son by far prefers the bracelet to anything else, but he’s a 10-yr-old…
