Love it I had major hand surgery a couple months ago and have used several hand exercisers like this one, but I wasn’t satisfied with them. I just got the Thera-Band one today, and I’m already very happy with it. Much better quality than the ones I had ~ soft enough for me to squeeze hard enough to feel like it was worthwhile. And it just feels better. I imagine I’ll be ordering the “next one up” fairly soon. I should have thought of Thera-Band in the first place ~ quality products.
Low Impact And Less Potential Damage! The usual mechanical hand exercisers and hard rubber balls are too difficult for me to use. Any of the mechanical devices will aggravate rather than alleviate the pain in my wrist tendons. However, the Theraband soft polymer ball is perfect! It doesn’t stress my wrists; and gives me just the right amount of movement in my overused hands. (I do a lot of typing!)The only thing I don’t like about the Theraband hand exerciser ball is that I’ve been able to wear one out in, like, no more than 4 month’s time. These balls aren’t going to last forever; but, while they’re around, they do work very well.(It’s been less than a year; and I’m on my third replacement ball, now. When it finally gets too soft, I will buy another. It’s a nice product; and it feels good too!)
Highly recommend if you need a little extra grip work. This is a great, small exercise ball to keep fingers limber and mobile. I have some hand numbness/tingling if the mattress I am sleeping on (hotel) is too firm. This squeeze ball helps work that out. I have seen others say it’s too sticky/tacky but I like it that way. I do a series of exercises and then wash my hands in warm water and feel pretty good for a while.
