Great for the fingers I had a bad fall and broke my right hand and wrist. My physical therapist uses this item in her sessions, along with several other Cando items. This was always my favorite one of them all. I love using it. You can really see the results very quickly and move up to the next resistance level. Now that I am finished with my therapy, I decided to purchase the exact same items that I used in therapy. My therapist only used Cando items, which are very good quality items, so that is what I have been purchasing on my own. I love the fact that they are all color-coded, so you know which level to use in each item, and can increase the resistance level as your hand strength improves. Exercising each finger separately is extremely helpful in strengthening the fingers and the hand. I highly recommend this item.

improved my hand grip strength I got these hand exercisers so I could do exercises at home that my physical therapist was having me do when I went to her office. I’m getting on in years, and my hand strength is waning, so she had me grip, release, grip, release–using all my fingers at the same time–for 3 minutes each hand. After doing this almost daily for a few weeks, my hand strength (as measured by a grip measuring thingy) had increased substantially. And I could open more jars at home.

Bought this after a serious injury to help with my … Bought this after a serious injury to help with my rehabilitation after six months of o/t. Definitely aided in my continuation of exercises and rebuilding the lost muscle in my hands. Keep in mind that there are different weights to these digi-flex exercisers and that they correspond to the amount of resistance they’ll give. This was the weight that corresponded to my progress. I now use this to exercise my hand when I can’t get them on my cello (like practicing scales!).
