Therapeutic Putty GREAT for post surgical hand rehab! After shattering the bone in the lowest part of my middle finger in May on Memorial Day Weekend, then having a 3-hour surgery the week of Flag Day in June where I had a metal plate and 5 screws installed to put it back together – only to wind up having a 2nd surgery the week of July 4th bc a terrible infection set in and I had to have all the old equipment removed and replaced – I was terrified I wouldnât be able to ever use my middle finger – which is awful bc Iâm a writer! And even though Iâm right handed and the injury was to my left hand – Standard American Keyboards are âleft-hand-heavy.âSo when I started hand therapy (by the way – you know itâs a REALLY BAD injury when youâre cleared for 141 hand therapy visits) with, no joke, one of the best hand therapists in the United States – Iâve been doing EVERYTHING she says. When she pulled out the Theraputty, I asked, âWhere can I get that?âShe said, âAmazon! But make sure itâs the antimicrobial kind bc we donât…
Great Product! I’m an occupational therapist in a psychiatric hospital and use this with my clients. It’s a wonderful product for a great price! It’s very good quality in comparison to other theraputty products I’ve used in the past. I love the anti-microbial feature. It stores nicely and hasn’t dried out. I ordered the 6oz size container and am very happy with the amount I received. I have split the putty up into three separate portions as I work with children so the amount they need is far less than an adult. I would highly recommend this product to others!

We use the putty for therapy everyday to improve her hand motion and fine motor movements. The only complaint I would have is on the listing of the item. It could be a bit more clearly labeled that the colors are strength oriented. If you are a therapist you will know this but as a layperson…. well you might buy black and find it a little difficult to work it thru your fingers since its really really hard to work! 🙂
