It’s okay. You get what you pay for. I anticipated the problems I’d have with this pedaler based on other reviews and they were all pretty spot on. The tension knob is useless. No matter how much you tighten it, you lose all tension within the first two minutes. The knob does not turn backwards when losing tension either, so trying to hold it in place will not work. It worries me that it doesn’t unscrew, because that means something inside is probably being drilled through or worn down. The bars that the pedals connect to does get really hot. I’ve been using this for a few days now and never noticed and only crawled under my desk to touch them just because I saw other reviews mention it. If you are wearing shoes, I don’t see why this would bother anyone. Also, the pedaler is quite tall. I don’t know how they could make it any shorter, though. At it’s lowest point, your feet are only about 3″ off the ground. I’m 5’7″, my desk sits 36″ high (not a standard office desk), and I have a bar style chair, so this…

what a great machine, and small and compact so it’s not … My mom loves this! I bought it for her to help with activity because she has Parkinson’s and cycling is supposed to help, and she never wants to stop using it. Her doctor actually told her she needed to either eat more or put it away because she is on it too much, haha! I want to steal it from her now… what a great machine, and small and compact so it’s not in the way like a huge stationary bike. It stays put while you are cycling, and the tensioner on top moves easily to change difficulty. It was super easy to put together. All in all, a great product!

Missing parts on arrival. The fact is, I really need this for a disabled person. And I needed it now. So when I open the box to assemble it, I was disappointed to discover that it was missing several parts. I’m also annoyed that I need to pack it up and ship it back to get a refund, instead of just being able to say please send me these minor but necessary pieces.
