UPDATE: I give up trying to keep this stick working. The wood is so cheap it cracks at the end and the screw spins in place I have just lowered my rating to 2 stars because this stick has become useless yet again. The wood stick must be made from some cheap wood because the hook easily cracks the end of the stick, the screw hole becomes stripped and then the hook only spins in place. My main use was to put on my slippers. My cloth slippers are a size larger than my feet so I can easily slide my foot inside but the rear of the slipper must be turned over to completely put the slippers on. When using the hook end…

Very handy for many purposes. As a quadriplegic this dressing stick comes in very handy. I don’t use it for dressing but I use it for reaching things on the floor or reaching things on the back of the counter or up in a cupboard. We are good for just all-around reachers. I wish they made one another foot longer.
