really helped my sinuses This Vicks personal sinus steamer really helped my sinuses and nose. I’ve been having extra problems with the weather changes and the dry baseboard heat in our house. I get dried up bloody noses quite often. I’ve been using this Vicks steamer for about 4 or 5 days straight. No more bloody nose. Plus, my nose and sinus pressure feels so much better. That’s a compliment, because I have really bad allergies – claritin d, 2 nasal sprays, and allergy shots. It is very simple to use. Just place 2.5 tablespoons of cool water – don’t use cold tap water, let it get to a cool state, or you will be waiting much longer than the 6 minute heat up time. Once the temp is correct, you just breathe in the steam until it’s done. Do not mean your face completely against the mask part. Steam has to get out into the air.

Steam is Slow, but Nice for Sinuses Length:: 0:07 Mins Both of my children have used a nebulizer in the past. I sometimes use their nebulizer machine with saline when I am feeling stuffy and dealing with a head cold. I like the Vicks steamer because you can incorporate essential oils. The instructions implicitly state that you are not to put oils into the water reservoir, which I did not. However, instead of using the Vicks brand scented pads, I prefer to use pure essential oils. I already had some plain cotton wicks, which I cut into strips, to put into the tray where the Vicks vapor pads go (see photos). I just added my own essential oil from a brand that I trust. So I like that I can use my own product in it and avoid the chemicals in the vapor pads. One of the main ways this is going to be different from a nebulizer is that the steam that comes out is going to be warm to hot. For that reason, I would not let a young child use this by holding it in their lap or something. It…

Very Effective – Easy to Use – Great for Headaches and Nasal Passage Dryness I haven’t owned a Vicks personal steam inhaler before this one but I did own a different one. There are things I like about each. What I like most about the Vicks model is how you can hold it up to your face and inhale the steam. The plastic face protector fits perfectly around the face and I didn’t feel like the steam was burning me at all. On the other model I used I felt like it would sometimes if I got too close. The Vicks mode doesn’t heat up as quickly. Also, the face protector comes off too easily. If I put any pressure at all on it it would start to come off. That was what I liked least. Only one Vicks pad is necessary for a full effect with the Vicks. It is very strong and very effective. I had a terrible headache when I started this tonight. I had put an ice bag on my head, taken pain medicine and had lain in a dark room for a couple of hours trying to feel better. I then remembered this and decided to give it a try. It absolutely worked. When I was done, my…
