Relief Between cell phones and video games my thumbs have started hurting more and more each day. I finally splurged on myself and bought myself a pair of these. TBH I was debating on a few different brands but when I looked at these they just seemed to compress the parts of my hands hurting the most. They are the perfect color and size, not too obvious and I don’t have to roll them up or adjust them. The only downside is after taking them on and off regulatory they have stared to de-thread around the thumbs and palm.I have yet to wash them, but I fear when I do that they will unravel more.
Good pain reliever, but not best craftmanship These are an improvement over the ones made from gel since they don’t cause the hands to sweat. It takes a while, but they eventually seem to stop severe thumb pain, and I gave them the acid test, trying them for the first time after 2 hours of snow shoveling.Next time (probably tomorrow), I’ll be smart and put them on before picking up the shovel. They are not as long as they seem in the picture. Frankly, I didn’t want them to be as long, and they give decent wrist support without the extra length. But, don’t expect master craftsmanship. There are many loose threads and “puffs” of elastic on them. This doesn’t affect their effectiveness, but it makes me wonder how long they’ll last. Still, assuming that they don’t fall apart too quickly, I suspect that I’d be willing to buy them again.Shipping was not super quick, though (maybe because I’m not a Prime member?).
… a therapeutic gel cushion large enough to do some good. Wrong on both counts These look as if they are a tight elastic and have a therapeutic gel cushion large enough to do some good. Wrong on both counts. It’s just a piece of knit fabric that doesn’t stretch or contract therapeutically and the gel is non-existent. They were inexpensive so I guess I got what I paid for them. Thank you Amazon for the easy return on these.
